Taigang Stainless, the largest steelmaker in China announced to raise its export prices for 400 grades stainless steel products by US$10/ton for July delivery, in order to reflect higher ferrochrome prices.
After the adjustment, its export prices for 430 grades cold rolled coils and hot rolled coils are at US$1,490/ton FOB and US$1,360/ton FOB respectively, rising by US$10/ton from a month ago.
It's learned that the prices of lump chrome ore offered by overseas suppliers have increased since late April due to tight supply in spot market.
